• fiona combing little ian’s curls before school and calling him “sweetface”
• ian and lip comparing their curls
• (racebent ian having the best curls in the entire world btw)
• ian growing up and doing everything he can to tame the curls
• but his boyfriend mickey loves his curls
  
• when mickey first sees them it’s after ian showered and he’s too lazy to do anything to his hair and mickey goes “holy shit your head” and ian gets blushy and self conscious but mickey rushes to correct himself like “no no its okay i like them no”
• mickey forcing him to leave his hair natural
• mickey trying to be subtle as he admires ian’s hair but fails miserably (he’ll pass by ian sitting at the kitchen table and hug him from behind so he can rest his chin on top of the curls)
  
• and ian resting his head in mickeys lap, who can’t stop running his fingers through the wild curls and rubbing his thumb over ian’s temple
• when ian falls asleep with his face tucked into mickey’s neck, mickey kisses his curls and buries his nose in them and falls asleep like that
