‘Captain America: Civil War’ official synopsis revealed, filming set to begin in April!
Synopsis: “Following the events of Age of Ultron, the collective governments of the world pass an act designed to regulate all superhuman activity. This polarizes opinion amongst the Avengers, causing two factions to side with Iron Man or Captain America, which causes an epic battle between former allies.”
Filming: The casting call which revealed the synopsis for Captain America: Civil War seemed to put a focus on extras “with many ethnicities,” which was sent out to Atlanta, where shooting is set to begin on April 1 (2015). It’s unclear if this is first or second unit’s start date, but we’re definitely getting close to the film’s production. Anthony and Joe Russo, who directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier, will be helming Civil War, and it will co-star Chris Evans as Captain America and Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man. The two will be at odds with each other after Age of Ultron, which leads to the epic battle mentioned in the synopsis.The Winter Soldier was seen as one of the best directed Marvel films to date, and with the Russo brothers directing Civil War, we expect great things when the film hits theaters May 6, 2016. So many things have to go badly in Age of Ultron for there to be such a massive divide between Iron Man and Cap, and Robert Downey Jr. mentioned something about it back in January. (read more)
