oh, anon, i hope your night gets better! :) i’ll whip up a batch right now. initiating family gallagher headcanons: 

• debbie and carl are the only ones allowed to play battleship - ian and lip are not allowed to even touch the box or debbie will kill them 
  
• lip used to help ian practice for baseball by throwing him grounders and fly balls and throwing the ball back and forth :) 
• all the gallaghers played streetball! debbie grabbed chalk and made bases in the street and they split up into teams (with kev and v and neighborhood kids joining) and they all wacked the ball in the street :) 
• for the first twelve years of his life, every dinner on carl’s birthday was breakfast for dinner
• fiona!!! giving!!! liam!!! baths!!! BUBBLE BATHS!!!
• fiona fucking loves beyonce okay (so does ian)
• fiona actually wrote a lot of those journals in her teenage years and many of them were her venting her feelings about all the responsibilities she had and how she had to drop out of high school and they’re very emotional and angry (she hid them waay better than the one carl found)
• ian and lip always try out for the same sports and clubs at school together until ian finds rotc and sticks it out in there 
• debbie goes a couple of months furiously calling the squirrel fund something other than squirrel: “chipmunk fund,” “woodchuck fund” 
  
• the gallaghers actually take mandy under their wing. mandy teaches debbie about self-defense. fiona teaches mandy about how to deal with high school boys. they braid each other’s hair and borrow each other’s lipstick
• lip wants to wear a certain shirt but can’t find it so he yells at ian and ian’s like “i don’t fucking have it” so they yell at carl and he’s like “i don’t have it” and they all look at each other and sigh and find the shirt in fiona’s room bc she’s always borrowing clothes
